The IDE — write, send, listen.
What are the two IDE buttons?
VERIFY — The little ✓ mark. Check the code — always ✓ before →.
UPLOAD — The → button. Send the code to the actual Arduino.
What two “screens” do we have in the IDE?
CODE — The editor — where we write code.
TERMINAL — The Output panel — where the IDE talks to us about verification, uploads, and errors.
How does the ARDUINO talk to us?
TOOLS — Serial Monitor opens a TERMINAL for Arduino messages.
SERIAL — setup init: Serial.begin(9600); output terminal: Serial.print().
